Placebo Термин "плацебо", узаконенный медициной в 1894 году, обозначает препарат, заведомо не обладающий никакими целебными свойствами. Не будем рассуждать о нравственном облике врачей, подсовывавших своим подопечным пустышки вместо настоящих лекарств. Главное, что они с удивлением обнаружили, - многим больным действительно становилось лучше от приема таких пилюль. Медики всерьез заинтересовались феноменом плацебо. Феноменом плацебо, или, как произносят наши друзья англичане, "пласибо", всерьез заинтересовались не только медики. Эффект пласибо произвел совершенно неожиданное действие на меломанствующую публику, однако случилось это несколько позже: в 1996 году. Именно тогда свой первый альбом выпустило трио, которое сегодня считается одной из самых интересных и перспективных групп европейской альтернативной волны. Placebo называют британским коллективом, поскольку в Лондоне они встретились, в Лондоне живут и там же записывают свои удивительные песни, в которых слышится что-то от Дэвида Боуи, что-то от Sonic Youth, The Cure и даже Pink Floyd, однако и своего, типично “пласибовского”, в этих композициях предостаточно – иначе не показались бы они нам такими интересными. Несмотря на свое английское происхождение, состав команды весьма интернационален, поэтому давайте познакомимся поближе с ее участниками. если кому-то интересно |
